Beskrivelse
Tweethletes was a social experiment with one goal – to win the 100m running final in London. The athletes used their feet, we used our tweets. A tweet is 2,5 cm high, so to cover 100 meters we needed 4000 tweets. And to win the race we needed it in less than ten seconds.
People were recruited through Twitter, Facebook and PR. And they could follow the race real-time on a digital race track, simultaneously with the mens 100m olympic final in London.
Tweethletes was a self promotional campaign for digital ad agency NetPeople. It was featured by big media like, Creativity-online, USA Today, Contagious, NBC, Der Standard and more.
