Some say doing work for yourself is the easiest thing in the world. Others say it’s the hardest. Turns out, both are true. This is the Spring/Summer site, built by Spring/Summer, and since we’ve put it under the "Experimental" category, let’s focus on the more experimental parts.

First off, the site is extremely modular - down to overlay elements that parallax and move independently (ex on AMEX case). But the real standout is the notification area on the right. It can hold site-wide, page-specific, or module-specific messages, even acting as a basket when the hidden shop features are in use (running shirts on Culture page). On mobile, it sits neatly at the bottom of the screen.

To organize our work, we use a taxonomy system that leads to subpage types only accessible through filtering. These are grouped by industry, solution type, and technology foundation.

And the rest? It’s all about how it comes together in the browser - transitions, layers, culture, information...
