Beskrivelse
Carlsberg’s thirst for progress has taken them from a local craft brewery in 1847’s Copenhagen to a global brewery with a state-of-the-art research laboratory. 2022 marks Carlsberg’s 175th anniversary, and such achievements require proper celebration.
The famous Danish brewery is releasing a Limited Edition Series of beers to celebrate its achievements and showcase the brewing craftsmanship, knowledge and passion that the brewmasters at the research laboratory put into their work. Brut Beer, Wheat Lager and Barrel Aged Lager. Each beer is a testament to Carlsberg’s tireless attempts to create new flavours and see what wonderful brews they can stir up.
For all three beers, a fitting label is needed. A label that reflects its origin. The result is inspired by the Carlsberg Research Laboratory’s meticulous and scientific exploration of the taste possibilities in beer.
“When designing the label, we visited the Carlsberg Research Laboratory. The brewmasters use notes and labels to keep track of their experiments. We drew inspiration from them and created a modular label design system, reflecting the Carlsberg heritage and spirit. And having it all engraved and embossed on the label adds to this beer's premium feel and exclusivity. Finally, it is personally signed by the responsible brewmaster, an elegant nod to Carlsberg’s founder and his craftsman spirit.
The limited edition beers, Brut Beer, Wheat Lager and Barrel Aged Lager, are available in selected markets.
