Beskrivelse
The Danish Music Awards is the industry's oldest and most prestigious award ceremony. Since 1989, the Danish Music Awards has been an institution in the commercial part of Danish cultural life under changing names.
Behind Danish Music Awards ’22 is the music companies' industry association IFPI Denmark in close collaboration with JBL and Samsung.
There is a strong desire to keep up with the times rather than doing it as it has always been done. Therefore, the people behind the event decided to work with a new format exclusively for the industry.
The proposed poster series for Danish Music Awards communicated their annual show supported by the new brand colours, strict typographic approach and grid system. The posters acts as an ode to a long range of the most recognised and prominent Danish musicians — not just today’s artists, but also historically.
Small font size, horisontal columns and careful paragraph justification imitates waveforms in a subtle, yet playful way giving the text-heavy posters a more graphical look, while enticing the viewer to get closer.
