Ready Set Blast
The Copenhagen Half Marathon has earned its mark on the European race calendar with a world-record-fast route and a cheering spectacle along the iconic scenery in the very heart of Copenhagen. But how does a race not just maintain its success but evolve – becoming stronger, richer, and ready for the years ahead?
We worked with Sparta to re-discover the core of the brand and event experience and roll out an all-new identity across the plethora of touchpoints that make up an event of this scale.
With the new brand narrative, "Ready, Set, Blast," and the brand drivers Festive, Fierce, and Functional, we crafted a verbal and visual identity that amplifies the race into the iconic, electric experience it was always meant to be. The impact? A full sell-out in a record-breaking two hours.
At the heart of the new identity is the Copenhagen Half logo – dynamic and always moving forward. It captures the festive, fierce energy of race day while subtly nodding to the Copenhagen Marathon, its sister event under Sparta’s banner. More than just a logo, it reinforces the race’s world-class status. Whether on course signage, digital platforms, or finisher medals, the mark pulses with the race’s rhythm.
