Ready Set Blast
The Copenhagen Half Marathon has earned its mark on the European race calendar with a world-record-fast route and a cheering spectacle along the iconic scenery in the very heart of Copenhagen. But how does a race not just maintain its success but evolve – becoming stronger, richer, and ready for the years ahead?
We worked with Sparta to re-discover the core of the brand and event experience and roll out an all-new identity across the plethora of touchpoints that make up an event of this scale.
With the new brand narrative, "Ready, Set, Blast," and the brand drivers Festive, Fierce, and Functional, we crafted a verbal and visual identity that amplifies the race into the iconic, electric experience it was always meant to be. The impact? A full sell-out in a record-breaking two hours.
The new identity revolves around the dynamic nature of the mark, the dominant use of the updated orange, standout messaging, and a design system that spans from the widest marketing outreach to the smallest race-day details – all coming together in a cohesive and remarkable brand identity.
