Prompted by the launch of a new strategy, the Blazar Capital brand identity was in need a redesign, to better align with the company’s new focus on building brands with influential talents.
By dropping the “Capital” part of their name, the “Blazar” word could now really stand out, and was thus the inspiration for our design concept. This is also why we kept the iconic Blazar orange – a colour full of passion, energy and fire.
As a way of signalling the brands focus on building star brands and talents, we used a dynamic star pattern and graphic both in stills and in motion – however, in motion is where the stars really come to life. From highlighting products to creating playful interactions with images and film, the star is at the center of the CVI. Also present in the new, sleek logo, the star is placed at the end to represent the goal of every brand Blazar creates – to build a trailblazing star.
Lastly, the tone of voice concept also adds a lot of flavour of the Blazar brand. A simple two deck concept, the verb and description combination allows Blazar to communicate the very different attitudes and goals of each brand they create.
