As a family-owned company, Copenhagen Merchants Group has evolved from an agricultural commodity broker, to a global industry leader, offering services across logistics, processing, and market insights. Following a recent brand refresh, we activated the new brand, crafting a brand spatial identity and an expo design for European Commodities Exchange (ECE) event in Paris.
Held at the historic Grand Palais, one of Paris’ most iconic landmarks, the event welcomed over 4,500 participants. Our 50 m² expo design translated the brand’s new visual identity and strategy into a cohesive and impactful physical experience, seamlessly integrating digital touchpoints. The solution included two digital interactive pieces – a touch-enabled core service installation and a bespoke interactive game, activated via visitor’s mobile devices.
By creating a touchpoint-agnostic expo design, we elevated Copenhagen Merchants’ brand perception, through an engaging and visually aligned digital and physical design concept. The result was a visually cohesive, interactive, and adaptable solution, positioning the brand as forward-thinking and innovative through the creative use of space, elements and interaction. The versatile, free-standing expo elements are adaptable, and could also be used to transform their office or adapt to smaller events, ensuring longevity across future applications.
