What If Your Taste In Music Literally Could Choose Your Headphones?
The modularity aspect of the TMA-2 headphone system, means you can create your own unique personalized AIAIAI product that fits your specific needs. But how do you decide on your favorite modular headphone set, when you have the option to choose between more than 1000 different configurations?
AIAIAI have launched the TMA-2 Discovery - an interactive music-driven experience, integrated as a special section on their website, to guide users to the right headphone configuration.
It’s based on the data from Spotify’s Discover Weekly playlist – a weekly roundup of recommended songs chosen for you tailored to your tastes and based on your listening habits.
The customers have the opportunity to explore their weekly music list, to learn more about the genres, moods and the tempo of the selected songs; before being presented with a headphone configuration that matches the their individual music profile.
It all happens with the use of the open Spotify API, where each individual playlist is analysed to reveal detailed track data and characteristics, through a combination of artificial intelligence and human musicology. This information, coupled with the sound profile information AIAIAI has on the individual headphone parts and combinations, leads to the specific headphone suggestion.
In getting people to try and get the personalised TMA-2 Discovery experience, AIAIAI used a mixture of different tools or channels: PR, Social Media and Direct Marketing like newsletter send-outs for existing customers/people with an interest in our company and products, as well as a targeted social media awareness.
