A bit like the mature woman and strong, sun-tanned hunk in this ad, set in a mock-erotic 80s’ universe. She needs a young handyman, he is ready to offer his assistance. But not with what we imagine.
The retro porno-vibe is reinforced by plush interiors, glitter effects and a healthy dose of product glorification – all in keeping with the vintage packaging design and product identity the audience has come to love.
A bit of tongue-in-cheek humour that generated more than just a few giggles, with an impressive 3.5% absolute lift in consideration – that’s 37% higher than the average best-in-class brand lift results in Denmark.
Lesson learned: sex still sells.
