Introducing: Munchies Guide To Norway
Munchies produced 5 documentary episodes in partnership with Visit Norway and the Norwegian Seafood Council.
The greatest food fairytale is the Nordic region. From trailblazing chefs in the cities to farmers who have become local heroes in a locavore movement, Nordic has never been cooler. And Norway is a key part of this story. Norway not only captures the imagination of diners heading to places such as Oslo and Stavanger, but its raw and beautiful nature provides the larder for kitchens across Scandinavia. In "MUNCHIES Guide to Norway", we dive into the cold waters, we climb the mountains, we sail the fjords, and we eat at the restaurants in order to meet the people shaping the food scene.
We also launched The Munchies Festival - a two-day event in Brooklyn, New York. We showcased 8 of the best Nordic chefs from Scandinavia. Each of them using products from the Norwegian Seafood Council.
Prior to the festival, we organized a private seafood dinner with only Norwegian Seafood products at Vice HQ where we invited US-based food influencers and food journalists. The purpose of the dinner was to create attraction about the forthcoming release of ‘The Munchies Guide To Norway.’
