Kiss My…is a premium series of aperitifs from Belgium – handpicked and handcrafted from organic fruit and herbs.
The creative brains behind Kiss My... are brothers and founders, Niels and Wouter Vandekerkhove. The brothers took inspiration from time spent on the Vandekerkhove family farm when they were growing up and, specifically, their grandparent’s recipes using the farmed produce; reimagining and perfecting these for the tastes of a more modern audience.
The KissMy…brand name cheekily makes clear the brand's intent to never bend to expectations. Our challenge was to look at how we could bring every element of the brand’s provenance, contradictions, mission and playful side to life to establish a very distinct space for it on the drinks shelf; drawing in today’s exploratory drinkers with a desire to indulge in a premium, natural and sophisticated drink.
Our creation of a ‘rebel legacy’ positioning and design expression informed the creation of a new and seemingly boundless brand.
The packaging design brings to life all of the unique and artisanal elements of the brand's farm-to-table story in a sensorial packaging design, rooted in family and nature. The new identity features back-to-back S's to signify that this is a brand that goes its own and unexpected way and is full of contradictions, being both traditional and contemporary, crafted and raw.
The natural ingredients, the landscape and environment of the family farm inspired the beautiful brand colour palette and detailed illustrations which weave and wrap around the tactile- feeling bottle - taking the customer deeper into the overall sensorial experience of the drink and round to the back of pack story, serving suggestions and the world of endless possibilities it can offer.
