DR Publik is DR’s bespoke type family — designed to unify a clean, functional expression with strong recognisability across platforms. Rooted in a no-nonsense design philosophy, it is shaped to feel distinctly Danish yet international.

Rounded is the newest extension of the superfamily. It moves from elegant and refined in the lighter weights to softer, fuller and more playful in the heaviest. The boldest styles are developed specifically for DR’s children’s platforms, Ramasjang and Minisjang.

As the weight increases, the terminals progressively flatten and become more horizontal, avoiding droplet endings. The growing softness is carefully balanced with structural restraint — staying true to DR’s no-nonsense design approach.

The typeface is variable and optimised for digital use across screen sizes.
