The Danish Music Awards is the industry's oldest and most prestigious award ceremony. Since 1989, the Danish Music Awards has been an institution in the commercial part of Danish cultural life under changing names.
Behind Danish Music Awards ’22 is the music companies' industry association IFPI Denmark in close collaboration with JBL and Samsung.
There is a strong desire to keep up with the times rather than doing it as it has always been done. Therefore, the people behind the event decided to work with a new format exclusively for the industry.
As DMA is a progressive and cultural institution, the new custom designed logo is ever-evolving and dynamic to reflect the association’s ambitions. The new visual identity and logo for Danish Music Awards is therefore defined by music. Taking cues directly from music, the logo is inspired by waveforms resulting in a bold graphical expression with the possibility to take endless of shapes and forms through the musical input from each artist and their work. Made for the music. By the music.
