Jordens Hus is a newly founded association and dissemination project, working to raise awareness about soil — as a natural resource, a basis for life, and a medium for artistic exploration. Equal parts artwork, research, and enlightenment, Jordens Hus connects artists, scientists, and agriculturalists to explore and inform about the diversity of the ground we depend upon, but few take notice of. Activities include seminars, exhibitions, and educational initiatives, aimed at professionals and the general public.
Striking a balance between natural and cultivated, the identity celebrates an organic visual language, held in check by a firm exhibition catalogue aesthetic. With a nod to the Age of Enlightenment, information is presented with grandeur and a sculpture-like visual presence, lending the identity an elevated appearance.
