Beskrivelse
VOMP, a Copenhagen-based dance company led by choreographer Gunilla Lind, crafts hyper-tactile theatrical spaces inspired by pop culture, internet aesthetics, comics and fashion. Their performances challenge perceptions with bold shapes, rich materials, and transformative costumes that fabulously reflect on current societal issues.
As VOMP evolved from “Gunilla Lind Danseteater” into a collective of three, they needed a visual identity that could reflect the transition and their dynamic, ever-shifting creative universe.
We developed a bold, flexible logo and identity system that moves and adapts like the dancers themselves—fluid, expressive, and constantly evolving. The logo unapologetically fills up the space it inhabits, daring to be bold and stand out, echoing the fearless energy of VOMP’s performances.
We incorporated the versatile 'New Edge 666' typeface by Charlotte Rohde, a sans-serif font with multiple weights and styles that allow adaptable expressions tailored to each performance. Complementing this, we created a dynamic color system that evolves alongside the company, ensuring that the visual identity remains as vibrant and transformative as VOMP's performances.
Like choreography that flows seamlessly between movements and emotions, the visual identity embodies that same rhythm and vitality, creating a striking presence across all touchpoints.
The result is a visual identity that dares to be bold and stand out across digital and physical platforms, inviting audiences into an alluring, provocative, colorful, and playful world.
