The Danish west coast is unlike any other place in Denmark. Notoriously rough, yet welcoming and full of surprises. As the newest coalition of Danish museums to emerge, Museum Vest is ready to renegotiate old truths and literally vibrating with a multitude of wild and wonderful new stories.

In 2024, Sydvestjyske Museer joined forces with the well-known Fisheries and Maritime Museum in Esbjerg, thereby creating a new and significant cultural player in a very distinct part of Denmark.

The museum coalition contains a multitude of experiences as diverse as the area itself which has spurred us to create a brand identity that represents a shared, regional premise: the constant motion of Nature’s steady breathing - the wind, the waves and an ever-changing history.
 The visual identity is a testament to vitality with high contrasting colour schemes and a typographic concept that allows for movement and contrast in all external communication.
