How do people move on when modern society struggles to forgive? The short film FORGIVENESS explores this question through the emotional journey of a South African man shaped by violence and imprisonment.

We translated this progression into a poster series, a typographic system that embodies the emotional process of forgiveness. Rather than revealing the narrative, the series traces the character’s transformation through carefully selected frames embedded within the logotype. Each image is positioned to reflect its specific scene and psychological state, allowing the typography to function as a narrative container.

As the visuals and colours shift, we follow the central character on his quest for reconciliation, forgiveness not as a single act, but as a gradual movement toward change.
