Especially in terms of the environment. By analyzing our product CO2 footprint, it was clear that our packaging was still a big contributor. We therefore started a process at the end of 2019 to find much better solutions for packaging. The result was launched in the summer of 2020, with our upgraded packaging made completely from recycled materials, reducing the CO2 footprint by more than 60%. Further, by also minimizing dimensions and weight, the total packaging CO2 footprint is reduced by 80%. The total reduction adds up to more than 20% for product and packaging together. In creating and changing the new packaging for the TMA-2 Modular Headphone System, we updated the look in correlation with a rebrand and new typography, while retaining the simplicity of the products and brand ethos. Using a modular design approach and tailormade grid (visible in the elements of the lines) for the different use cases, meaning different packaging online (DTC) and in retail where you need to see the product.
