We helped Google launch its highly-anticipated Fiber network in Kansas City in July 2012, bringing residents of the city world-class Internet and HD TV with speeds 100 times faster than average services.
The web portal allows users to learn about the amazing new features, pre-register for a Fiber account and select a service plan - including a FREE internet plan that makes internet a resource for everyone.
We simplified a complex registration process and brought Fiber to life across desktop, mobile and tablet devices. Residents used the site to check addresses for eligibility, and also track the progress of their assigned “Fiberhood” via interactive status modules.
Initial registration goals were exceeded by 300% by the end of the first six-week rally when 25,000 sign-ups enabled 180 of the first 202 Fiberhoods to qualify for the service. Every day more people get access to Google Fiber which gives a brand new meaning to the phrase “the information highway”.
